90's

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. With some reluctance, we at the Rebel Flock News have realized that now that the 90's are almost over - that the 90's are here and there's not much we can do about it. We were hoping, like Hal Lindsey, that the Rapture would have already taken place in 1989.

Of course we at the RFN feel like we're probably as close to God as Bob Schuler, so that must count for something.

The 00's have already been interesting and fun for us -but not nearly as fun as a few years ago when our good friend, Oral, was stuck in the Prayer Tower needing a cool $8 mil. Yep, hard to find someone to trust anymore. Many of our ‘preacher’ heroes always turn into regular old human beings! It just goes to show that if we put ANY man too high, our hopes will be dashed -eventually.

See, we're all sinners, pastors included. And we're all capable of falling. And those who are the first to say 'never happen to me' are usually the first to go. That doesn't mean that we can't admire real men and women of God...but that begs the question - how DO you find a real man or woman of God? Yellow Pages? Church directory? Christian Yellow Pages? Little Nickel Want Ads? Classified 'people seeking Christians' ads? Answer to this question comes soon
