There is a continuing, popular rage going on right now; to actually take a Bible to church.

I realize this is shocking to many of you, but Bibles have recently been seen in churches all over the country. In Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and even in some Lutheran and Catholic churches. (Lest you cringe at the actual mention of denominations, don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about.)

Now some of you are thinking; what's the big deal? Well, we build our Christian life on the Bible and that the Bible is God’s word. How you feel and what you believe about the Bible speaks volumes about your walk as a believer.

Sure, the Bible is an old document, or collection of documents. Sure, some of it is hard to understand and there's the old thee/thy/thou question. And kids for centuries have wondered why John and Paul and Jesus talked in King James English.

The Bible is as practical today as it was 2003 years ago. And it’s simple. No instructions required. You could actually read it in the privacy of your own home, and it can make sense. ALL BY ITSELF! Pure. Logical. Practical. It's God's Word. It'll change your life!!
